I am a Postdoctoral Fellow Research Associate in Caltech's Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences, working with Dr. Michael Lamb.

I completed my PhD in the summer of 2023 in the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences at Indiana University, studying under Dr. Doug Edmonds.

I'm originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. After doing my BSc (with Dr. Janok Bhattacharya) and MSc (with Dr. Stephen Hubbard) in Canada, I moved to the United States in 2018 to pursue a PhD.

  • PhD in Geoscience: Indiana University, 2018-2023, under Dr. Doug Edmonds
    • Where, when, and why avulsions occur in alluvial basins over stratigraphic timescales using numerical modeling and remote sensing.
    • Bend- and event-scale mechanics of meandering and sediment transport in rivers using drone-based lidar and bathymetry.
    • Minor in Scientific Computing.
  • MSc in Geoscience: University of Calgary, 2015-2018, under Dr. Stephen Hubbard
    • Regional-scale (>11,000 km²) mapping, paleoenvironmental interpretation, and stratigraphic framework for a complex fluvial-deltaic system using >4,400 wire-line well logs and >1.5 miles of drill core.
  • Hon. BSc in Integrated Science: McMaster University, 2011-2015, under Dr. Janok Bhattacharya
    • Concentration in Earth & Environmental Sciences, field research on the Ferron Sandstone of Utah.
    • Minor in GIS.
